Is Photoster free?
Yes. The library, editor, filters, crop and rotate, on-device restoration and background remover are free with no account. AI Pro tools and talking/singing videos use credits — new visitors get one free credit, and packs start at $4.99. Credits never expire.
Can it restore old, damaged photos?
Yes. Free on-device tools fix fading, color casts, noise and softness. AI Studio adds face restoration, scratch and tear repair, black-and-white colorization and 4× upscaling.
How do talking and singing photos work?
Open a portrait, choose Animate, type a script or upload a song, and Photoster animates the face with lip-sync. Pick a studio voice, the free on-device narrator, or your own cloned voice.
Are my photos private?
Your library is stored on your device and works offline. A photo is only uploaded when you use a cloud AI tool or turn on cloud backup. Filters, on-device restore and the free background remover never upload anything.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes — Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac and Chromebook. On Android or desktop tap “Install the app”. On iPhone open Photoster in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Turn on cloud backup in Settings, then enter your private sync key on your other device to see the same library and credits.
